This is a great place, and a short little workout. I wish the trails were longer, but other than that it is very scenic because it overlooks Bogue Sound, and within the forest there are a little creeks and ponds. Shorty likes it too. Great place to take your dog

Nice little place to take in some island nature or play a little frisbee golf in the woods. Kayak launch at the end of the little pier looks very visitor friendly. There are restrooms at the trailhead and a handicapped drop-off at the end of the access road. The wooden walking ramp seems very well maintained. Parking near the end of the access road on the right.

Beautiful secluded area of one of my favorite coastal towns. There's frisbee golf and walking paths that are surrounded by pines, Spanish moss and wildlife. The paths are sandy and the ground was a bit loose so I don't recommend it for the elderly or those that have a hard time getting around. Some of it is uphill (slightly), but if you're in the mood to do a little exploring it's totally worth it. On my walk I found a Legless Lizard, a few deer, a box turtle and more turtles, dragonflies, butterflies and squirrels than I cared to count. There's also a restroom right in the center of it all.

Pleasantly surprised! An impromptu stop while out treating my lady to lunch at the Trading Post Restaurant (great food and outside atmosphere by the way). Decided to play a game of frisbee golf... in flip flops, but it didn't stop us. Tennis shoes recommended🤣. Must be able to maneuver through hills and watch for roots. Gorgeous area, cool kayak launch area, outside bathroom facilities. This is FABULOUS for cooler season..during the extreme heat of summer may be too much for some. (Buggy, lack of breeze) It was a beautiful 75 degrees out on our outing.

We went magnet fishing and had a great time. Didn't catch anything, so that tells you the water 💦 is clean. …

This is a beautiful little trail. Lots of great terrain and wildlife. So glad we found this little gem. Also a disk golf course, if you are into that sort of thing.

This is a fun 9 hole course. Spent a bit of time going through the course and then playing all 9 holes. There's lots of hiking trails around, so be aware of others while playing. It's a more technical course, with not a lot of far holes, just lots of trees. I played 3 above par with it being my first run through of the course. Watch your step and avoid the marsh. Once you turn into the road into the park, park in the right side lot a little up the road. The first hole is opposite the road. There are public restrooms at the pavilion at the end of the course.
